In the coming year our state society will face a difficult challenge...maintaining our state chapter status. Our state society was chartered in 1977 by hard work from some of our early PAs. Imagine at that time, with the profession in it’s early years, what an accomplishment that was. To gain support from physician colleagues many of whom did not even know what a PA was. You can imagine some even felt a little threatened by our existence. |
