The NHSPA CME Committee has chosen topics that are of concern to physician assistants in primary care.  Lecture topics include, “Headaches”- a lecture on lethal and non lethal headaches for the primary care provider and the ED provider.  “Pre-Operative Preparation for the Surgical Patient”- A cookbook of what to look out for, what to order and when to refer for the practitioner who is responsible for a patient that will be going to surgery.  "MRI, How to get what you are looking for”- A look at what exam and how to order it to get the most for your patient.


This program has not yet been approved for Category I CME credit. NHSPA will request 12 Category I CME hours from the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Along with the educational sessions offered at this meeting, NHSPA also offers social activities that allow you, your family, and your peers to enjoy a relaxing, fun-filled weekend.  This year, NHSPA will be organizing a Haunted Pub tour on October 22nd, join us for - the Northeast's only Haunted Pub Tour. This unique tour visits some of Portsmouth's Taverns that are both historic and haunted, immediately after the Annual Student’s Silent Auction.
