When he is not using his PA education, he enjoys working around the house and working out. He previously held a certification as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and a Personal Trainer. His career goals are to eventually get back into teaching part-time in a PA program while continuing to learn and grow in his orthopaedic practice. You need JavaScript enabled to view it - Vice President Heather is an Assistant Professor at MCPHS Manchester and a part time PA in pediatrics at Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic in Manchester. She received her PA education at George Washington University’s PA program, completed a PA pediatric residency at Norwalk Hospital/Yale University and received her Masters of PA Studies degree from University of Nebraska Medical Center. Heather is proud to have been part of the PA profession for the past 17 years and in PA education for 2 ½ years. She is very interested in providing opportunities for PA students to give back to the community and to the PA profession. Heather lives in Amherst, NH with her husband and 2 children.

- Treasurer Monica has been working as a Physician Assistant since February of 2007 in primary care for Catholic Medical Center. She also works part-time in surgery for NH Surgical Specialists, primarily working with bariatric patients. As a civilian employee, Monica helps National Guard Soldiers in need of conditioning to both pass their physical fitness tests and for weight management. Before becoming a Physician Assistant, Monica worked part-time as a Personal Trainer for eight years, and also worked as an EMT-Basic. Her undergraduate degree was in Biology from Clark University, and her graduate work was completed at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences

- Secretary Sarah currently works as a physician assistant at the Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialists of Southern NH in Manchester, NH.
He became an Assistant Deputy Medical Examiner in 2002 helping to serve the State of New Hampshire in scene investigation, data and evidence collection. To aid in his goal of supporting the role of the Physician Assistants, Ed is serving his second term as Member at Large, on the New Hampshire Society for Physician Assistants (NHSPA) and also serves as their CME Committee Chairman. He was recently elected by the Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital Professional Staff Committee to serve as the Chief of the Medical Staff and to membership on the UCVH Board of Directors. A gifted instructor, Ed often teaches at BLS, ACLS, and PALS Courses on behalf of the North Country Educational Consortium. He is also an Instructor Coordinator for EMT-Basic and EMT- Intermediate courses. He guest lectures and regularly serves as a preceptor for students at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science as well as for the Physician Assistant Program at Franklin Pierce University. Ed was the recipient of the 2001 Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital Employee of the Year Award; received the 2006 Region 5 Leadership Award; and was the 2009 honoree of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Science Physician Assistant Preceptor of the Year. Raised in Point Lookout, New York, Ed resides in Colebrook with his three children and two dogs.

- Member at Large Vonda was born and raised in Arizona and attended the University of Arizona where she completed her Bachelors degree in Exercise and Sports Science. While attending school she worked as an Athletic Trainer and continues to maintain her Athletic Trainer Certification.
Her interests are in overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, interstitial cystitis and prostate cancer. She has been NHSPA president from 2002-2004 and again in 2009. She is also the Chief Delegate to the House of Delegates for the AAPA. I have been a member of the Government Affairs and Reimbursement Committee for the AAPA from 2004-2008. I am committed to working at the state and national level to represent our profession and keep us at the table when discussions occur regarding health care reform. I feel we are meant to be part of the health care team and can serve the citizens of NH well. I look forward to working with NHSPA in the coming year.
